 Here is a partial list:

• To get the client into an atmosphere of beauty and serenity where he or she can recover from substance abuse. 
• There is nothing quite like being on the ocean... listening to the gentle sound of the waves, smelling that special salty fragrance in the air, feeling the refreshing breeze as you gaze at the glistening waters as the foam washes onto the beach below you....
  
• To get the client away from possible negative influences. (i.e. drug/alcohol availability, 'friends' that are users, enablers, and others that make it harder to quit, etc....)
  
• To recover with the privacy and anonymity our clients deserve.  (Choose a new identity while in treatment if you wish!) We take this subject seriously.  Our records are not subject to court orders without your express permission.
  
• Ecuador grows most of it's own foods and has it's own natural resources. This means that the foods you are served will be the freshest possible with recently caught sea foods (just down the road!) and fresh fruits and vegetables.  All fruits are always in season!
  
• The Ecuadorians are accepting of foreigners and as a people are very warm and friendly. 
  
• The climate is nearly perfect year round.  A/C is available but not necessary most of the year.
  
• It is the land of eternal spring. There are 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness giving balance to each day.  This seems to help people with so called 'imbalance' problems.
